About Us

We opened Mellows in March 2005. We already owned our own wholesale butchers supplying local hotels and guest houses which our sun took over the running of.

So we both decided to go for our own resturant to offer a fantastic fresh steak meals and lots of other exciting dishes using the fresh cornish meats from our own butchers, lots of local fresh cornish fish from Loveday boats, Matt Stevens in St Ives and Newquay which a lot of our customers really enjoy. (We also cater for vegetarians.)

We are both Cornish and would like to offer a wide range of fresh local produce to our customers - "If we haven't got it, we'll get it!"

We want to be different to ensure our customers enjoy the experience and company, our mouth watering meats and freshly homemade desserts - just have a read through some of the lovely comments from our customers who come from all over the world and return to us each time they visit the area.

Living by the sea with very fresh fish from Cornwall companied by our special wine list with candle light and a relaced atmosphere, we pride ourselves in clean tidy and beutiful meals and friendly staff - nothings too much trouble.
